I am Autistic and I get married this year in September and have been really struggling to find a dress that meets my sensory needs. I find bridal shops extremely intimidating being a tomboy and not a girly girl who hates all the fuss A few friends recommended I try WED2B in Liverpool as they operate a no appointment policy and to say to allow 2 hours to try on a dress or 3 hours on busier periods. I had scanned the dresses and confirmed they had the 2 I wanted in stock. The website says come at a time to suit you. We got there at 3pm they shut at 6pm. There was a queue of people there not many. On arrival on May 27th we were told we can't fit you today we only have 2 fitters. I explained we had travelled for 3 hours to get there as I had picked my mum up and had bad traffic to contend with which was met with "well we are open tomorrow". I am already stressed and exhausted trying to find a dress why would I go tomorrow. And my mum is awaiting a knee op so getting out was a massive effort for her also So I called customer services and they said well the website says Saturday is our busiest day. I said if sat is your busiest day why would you 1. not have more fitters in, 2. Operate an appointment only system for Saturday. The service was abysmal. I am now visiting their Wrexham store in the hope of better service and have rang to confirm they have the dresses I want. Weddings are stressful enough and I have yet to have a positive experience in buying a dress. I have scoured the internet and there are so many fake websites etc it is proving near impossible #weddings #poorservice #notgoodenough

Had an amazing day at wed2be Liverpool. I'm not the most confident person especially when it comes to body image and finding clothes so I was nervous about my visit. Megan was amazing with me such a lovely personality and made me feel at ease straight away. Talked me through everything, was very knowledgeable and even found my dream dress for me based on the styling I liked. Thank you so much!

Was very nervous coming to look at dresses after a not so positive experience elsewhere but was pleasantly surprised. Both myself and my mum had a wonderful morning looking through the dresses. We were assisted by Megan who was amazing and helped make me feel comfortable straight away. She did a great job helping me find dresses I felt beautiful in. There was a great selection of dresses to choose from especially compared to other shops with limited plus size gowns.

My partner and her maid of honour visited the shop after travelling from Manchester to visit the shop, to be after being told you didn’t need an appointment, arrived 3 hours before closing time to be told there’s only 2 stylists on shift one of which was going home in 45 mins and there was already 5 brides in there so they were not allowed to try dresses on, if this is the case why can’t people make appointments?!

Being very indecisive I always knew buying my wedding dress was going to be difficult. I don’t usually wear dresses and didn’t have much of an idea, however Megan in the Liverpool store put me at ease almost immediately. She found me 4 beautiful dresses and took her time to allow me to relax. She interacted well with myself my Nan and my maid of honour really showing interest. I bought a dress on my first visit but realised I had rushed into it. On returning Megan again looked after me talked through every detail and allowed me to try different add ons to make it right for me. Having known my situation she allowed me the time to go away for an hour to make my decision and I’m so glad I did I have now found my perfect dress thanks to her patience, understanding and overall attentiveness. Thank you all for making this experience as stress free as possible!

Honestly couldn't of asked for a better place to find my dress. Not only is the selection stunning. The staff are phenomenal. Going above and beyond to help you feel comfortable and beautiful. Colette the lovely lady who assisted me today was without a shadow of a doubt the best person to have my first fitting with. So kind, funny and genuine. Knowing i was nervous she reassured me, made me laugh and made me feel so at ease with everything. I'm so, so grateful to her for making today so special. She made me feel genuinely beautiful for the first time in my life. Shout to Jenny as well (I think that's her name, I'm so deaf) she is so lovely and bubbly. We only had a short conversation, but she left a big impression. Wonderful, people, wonderful shop. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You both have made this day perfect. I highly recommend this beautiful shop to every new bride in search of her dream dress. 😍 xxx
