Today was my first time wedding dress shopping and I had the most incredible experience with Chell and the team. I wasn’t expecting to find a dress on my first try but I ended up walking away with the most incredible dress and accessories. I was lucky that for most of the visit we had the entire store to ourselves and the service we received was absolutely incredible. The staff were warm, bubbly, excited, knowledgeable and extremely helpful; they couldn’t do enough for us. I’m so blown away by the whole bridal experience I received today and feel so blessed we were in the hands of Chell and her team. Thank you so much for the perfect day ❤️

I unfortunately had a terrible experience at this store. After going with my sister a few weeks earlier to pick her dress and her having such a lovely experience I was excited to visit the store. The one main factor and difference between our appointments was that she didn’t have the store manager in the store that day and I did. I visited the Ashford branch on the 12/2/23. On arriving to the store we were greeted by the store manager, her approach was negative and she explained that they were very busy in store today so I may not be seen, I was told I can wait in the store until an advisor was free and that could be a few hours, and if I was to leave the store to get lunch or something else I would lose my place in the queue, being my first time dress shopping and managing to get my bridal party together for this day I said a wait would be fine. The manager explained that I could pick 4 dresses to try on and I will only have 45 minutes for my appointment, she explained that if I pick the wrong size or I don’t like a dress I won’t have time to change it and will have to come another day. I waited 2.5 hours to see and advisor in the end and am extremely unimpressed with the service I received, the advisor herself was a lovely lady and very helpful, however the manager we found to be rude and unhelpful, she made me feel rushed and took the sparkle away from the day. I understand the shop was busy but aside from the manger only two advisors were working, I read on the Wed2b website to allow 2-3 hours for appointments and I can try on as many dresses as I like so I don’t feel rushed, this is the opposite to how I felt, I left the store without a dress and feeling very deflated and disappointed. I visited on a Sunday (same day as my sister had) I understand it’s a busy store but they way we were approached was so rude and negative. I left the store feeling very deflated and quite honestly really low about myself. This is not the experience a bridal store should offer no matter how busy they are. Perhaps the manager could help on the shop floor a little more and take an interest in the brides instead of throwing negativity and sarcastic comments. I complained to head office and was offered a senior bridal consultation and a ‘special bride experience’ at a store of my choosing, personally I feel that all experiences offered should be a special bride experience. I have since found my dream dress at another store that was not a wed2b store. All future brides avoid the Ashford store.

Visited yesterday for the first time. I had never looked for dresses before, I’m autistic and I’m not a lover of shopping so I was fully expecting to be stressed and awkward the entire time, but this couldn’t have been further from my experience. Jennifer was amazing. Lovely, patient and happy to give advice. Not pushy in any way and made it so easy for me to feel comfortable. I didn’t think I would find a dress that day or so quickly but thanks to her I was able to make a desicion I am very happy with. Thanks Jennifer, you are an asset to the store!!

Online it was advertised as being able to walk in and get the dress. On arrival we were greeted and it was explained that we could pick 4 and then we would wait for an assistant to be available to help with trying on. At no point was the wait time highlighted as being long. The selection of dresses was smaller than expected and organised by size, so if a dress wasn’t available in that size you wouldn’t see it. Having selected the 4 dresses we were directed to wait. We waited. It hit the half an hour mark and we figured it was busy. At the hour mark we asked for an estimate of how long it would be, we were told they didn’t know. At the 2 hour mark we asked again. They didn’t know. At this point we decided to leave. As we left we said it would have been nice to have been given a warning that the wait could have been over 2 hours. We were told “the earlier you come the less you wait”. We had arrived at 2pm on a Saturday. The shop was open until 6. We’d visited another bridal shop that day and were able to try on 7 dresses in under 2 hours and had time to revisit options. Ridiculous service, no communication and an underwhelming selection of dresses. The girls doing the actual fittings seemed nice but the shop management was abysmal.

Shocking! Waited around for hours for my wife who was there with her sister. Other customers came in and we're prioritized and skipped the queue after being there for a short period of time, just because they had 1 dress to try on. Atrocious way to treat customers who are patiently waiting! Be prepared to be treated as another number if you go here and block the entire day out for sitting around in the shop because they wouldn't allow a slot to be booked and it has meant a lot of waiting around!

I went to the Ashford shop and had a wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and kind. They made me feel comfortable and informed me of the whole process. I was able to chose dresses from a var6of styles all in my size. The very helpful lady who did my fitting was Lorna. She was great. I found a beautiful dress and was able to get a jacket and underskirt all at the same time. They gave me a list of recommended seamstresses and advice on how to store my dress. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress.
