Maria Covington. One of the worst human beings I’ve ever met. She has allowed abuse and bullying of staff and residents. She is racist. She said my natural curly hair was inappropriate and asked if it was real. I got straight hair and she said it looked better. I witnessed multiple things in that home and experience a lot of abuse my self as a new starter. It’s long overdue but I will be telling CQC what I experienced and to be honest this women deserves to go to prison. If you want to work here or send your loved ones here. DONT. She brushes everything under the carpet and only keeps black people on the top floor (the hardest). I remember a pregnant black women telling me she wouldn’t move her to a different floor which would mean less heavy lifting. She had to take her maternity leave early because MARIA couldn’t care less. She ignored my emails after. So I’m making sure she hears me now. They lie on reports to cover each other. Disgusting place.

I used to know Maria Covington . She worked in homes and allowed abuse of residents and staff to happen . She did nothing about it. Horrible person. She says she treats people how she’d loved to be treated but allowed horrific abuse of staff and residents . What kind of person allows abuse to go on and sweeps it under the carpet. This went on for years . Thanks Maria for ruining lives

I use to work at this home, till I decided to walk out because of unsettling events , I witnessed… be careful; it’s looks nice but looks can be deceiving … it’s a show! *( the management, really should get a reality check , because then they might grow some back bone and actually face up to the reality and make some proper changes. The one thing they are sure of is families can’t watch their loved ones 24 hours a day , when they families need reassurance through the form of a camera in their loved ones rooms. The camera will be switched off by staff . The families cannot even give a true validation, on deception through “ what is made to look good “ but in actual practice , The place should be minimising abuse, through a well lead management instead, they just care more about their pay check, SHAME, it could be an Excellent home instead of good!

The best care home I have ever worked in. I work for agencies so I am all over the places in Kent and East Sussex for the last almost 4 years. Weald Heights has an excellent management which cares about everyone not only residents. Great staff and very nice atmosphere. The Care Home is nice and clean. Looks like a hotel from outside and inside as well. I always like to come back to help them out. It’s quite a shame they don’t have very good reviews compare to MG Homes Warwick Park care home which is complete opposite from this place. Management and staff are bullies and I worked there for almost 2 months.
