I was supposed to have a viewing for a property that I had requested when it was first listed. The agency had a viewing the day before my viewing without informing me and agreed to let the property to another tenant. When I called and explained my situation, there was no empathy. I understand how crazy the market is right now, but there had to be some sort of communication especially that I called for the property when it was first listed.

I’ve been a landlord with WLP since summer 2017 and I genuinely can’t thank them enough for their professional work. I’ve had 1 long term tenant and now a new one. In both cases their review process for finding those tenants was outstanding in securing the best tenants. They do not let just anyone take a tenancy which is great as they do lots of financial checks etc. Every year they review my needs on the rental rate and the market rate and balance that with the tenants situation. Also, I get a full report each year with pictures etc so I always know the state of the property. On the ending of the last tenancy, it was time for a full refurb and a complete clear out. Though this was daunting and required a cash injection, they secured me 3 companies to get my house back to absolute perfection. It was an absolute result in the end as after, I think 2 days post works being completed, (2 weeks to complete the works), the house was back on the market and re rented. It was such a relief. I literally just let WLP do everything which is wonderful considering I am out of the UK. Throughout my time, even during COVID, they managed that scenario perfectly and all renewals are handled by them 100%. I always recommend them to anyone that needs to rent their property(ies) when asked. Their fee in my opinion is well spent money as when you need your agent, you need what they offer. I wouldn’t know where to start in dealing with the problems as and when they come. As is quoted, in the darkness, is when the stars shine. Cheesy I know, but when it’s not going well, is when you really need everything they provide!
