We first used We Hang Christmas Lights in 2021. Laura responded promptly and gave some lovely recommendations of what lights we could use and where. We were short on budget and couldn't afford to have the lights taken down, so we agreed the team would use steel ties to give the lights more longevity, so we could have them up for a few years. The installation team were prompt and very friendly and the lights went up quickly and efficiently. We were delighted with how they looked and many people stopped outside our house through December to look and take photos. Fast forward to the following Spring and unfortunately large sections of the lights fell down. On closer inspection, we realised that they had been installed with plastic clips rather than the metal ones as agreed. I contacted the company and Laura was on maternity leave at that point, though she did contact me a few weeks later to tell me they weren't operating as a company at that point but could help in November when they resumed trading. I tried to follow this up as I didn't feel it was fair when the job had not been fulfilled as described. Hiring a cherry picker ourselves to reach the very high roof ourselves was not something we could afford (nor should we have to) so we were reliant on them rectifying their mistake. Unfortunately I did not receive any response. Once the company resumed trading, I contacted them again and discovered that the company had been sold soon after my correspondence with Laura. Unfortunately the previous owners had not informed the new owner Mike of our difficulty, so initially it caused some awkwardness in having the issue resolved. However, to give Mike his due, he dealt with it quickly and had one of the team revisit our house with a cherry picker to fix the lights (using some stronger clips) within just a matter of days. We were extremely grateful, especially as he is personally new in business and ought not to have been left in that position by the previous owners. Had it been the old owners I was reviewing, I'd have rated this company far lower. However, Mike's customer service is worthy of five stars and for that reason I would be happy to use the company again.

The service I received was absolutely amazing - first class. My questions was answered very promptly and as soon as I gave go ahead to proceed we booked in a date and they were very accommodating.
