  We booked Anna and Simon as our photographer and videographer for our wedding in August 2022. We had an initial video call with them to get a sense of their fees and their vibe, as we'd heard a lot of people say how important it is to get on with your photographers as you'll be almost constantly around them on the day of your wedding! We clicked with them right away and had a really fun first call getting to know each other as well as having all our important questions answered. In the lead up to our wedding, we had a few email exchanges just to check in and to answer some questions about key people in our wedding party/key moments of the day so they could ensure they captured what was meaningful to us, and we also had another video call a couple of weeks before to make sure everything was good to go. That made us feel very confident that we wouldn't need to worry about anything on the day. On the day, Anna and Simon arrived when we were getting ready and seamlessly fitted into what we were doing. In fact, they helped out with a few things like putting the groomsmens buttonholes in place because none of them knew how to do it! The sign of a good photography team seems to be that they somehow capture everything but without really drawing attention to themselves or you even noticing that they're there most of the time. We love all the candid shots they got of us and our guests, and the landscape pictures of our venue with their drone and camera (including one of the insane stars in an extremely clear sky over our venue) are just incredible. Neither of us are particularly keen on having our photos taken but Anna and Simon put us at ease completely during our couples shoots, never pushing us to hold some awkward forced pose and chatting with us and joking around so it was great fun. They also understand the importance of not making the whole day about the photos or film, stealing you away for quick shoots when the light is perfect but letting you enjoy your day and time with your guests. The video of our ceremony and all the speeches is so lovely to have, particularly as the sound is amazingly perfect - we managed to even hear some parts of the speeches we didn't quite catch on the day. The edited videos of the day (we had a 4 min short one perfect for sharing and a 20 min long one to capture parts of the ceremony and speeches) are both beautifully edited and capture the mood of the day. It's something I know we'll watch every year on our anniversary (and maybe a few times in between). We also loved having input into the music for our longer video, and Simon made great choices using different versions of songs that featured as part of our wedding day. We love our photos so much we already have several framed and printed on our walls, plus a beautiful album which we ordered from The Clarkes too. The album was really easy to make and design using their website and is super high quality so it'll last forever. To sum up; two lovely and talented people, stunning photos, and a film we'll treasure.

  We were lucky enough to have Simon as our videographer at our wedding last year and couldn't have been happier with our choice. He was a fun and relaxing presence on the day, worked so well alongside our photographer, and really put us at ease in front of the camera. The videos themselves are wonderful and something we will treasure for years to come. We're so pleased we made the decision to book Simon and couldn't recommend him enough!

  I’ve known Anna for a long time so being able to have her photograph our wedding was really special! Communication before the big day was excellent and she made us both feel really comfortable during all the shoots. She managed our multitude of relatives with ease and the final photographs were excellent and captured our day perfectly. It rained continuously and the photos don’t show it at all! We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful photos. 10/10 would highly recommend!

  We all know how stressful planning a wedding is and Anna and Simon are exactly what you need. From our first initial conversation, we could tell they understood exactly what we wanted and who we are as a couple so we walked away feeling really confident. We had our wedding in Italy and they took this completely in their stride, planning their own travel arrangements and accommodation without any fuss. The day before the wedding they popped over for a quick chat and to scope out the venue which was really lovely. On the day, they were so professional and super friendly. Our guests even commented several times on how lovely they are. With regards to the actual photos and videos...WOW, we were blown away. The quality of everything is great and I think I've watched the videos about 60 millions times. We honestly couldn't be more grateful and will cherish these moments for the rest of our lives. In summary, I couldn't recommend Anna and Simon any more!

  It's always a challenge to find good vendors for your wedding, but luckily we found The Clarkes, Simon and Anna who are both amazing people to work with! They were both super professional and fun to work with. They made sure to capture all of the important moments of our day while also making us feel comfortable and relaxed. We are so happy with how our photos and video turned out, and we would highly recommend them to anyone! They were also so accommodating after the wedding was finished in relation to helping us with photos videos and our wedding album.   I just had to leave a google review so the whole world knows how fabulous Anna and Simon are as a photography duo! From initial contact and conversation it lead us to be so excited about having them both part of our day. We had a very small wedding with only 24 guests and they both fitted seamlessly into our day. They were honestly so discreet that at times I forgot they were snapping away even with so few guests! They are both so incredibly talented and patient which is exactly what you need when trying to organise groups of people for photos! We can’t thank them both enough for being part of our day and we are so looking forward to seeing our final images soon! Mr and Mrs Palmer
