I left my best man's speech to the last week and i was panicking. As I'd hoped by the end of Alfies Comedy Storytelling workshop I felt relieved bt the end of the course... 6 days later I was ready. The workshop was packed with so many tips and Alfie really took his time with all of us on the course. Everyone learnt something from everybody else's specific questions and answers. As I began my speech I was so nervous. 1 min in I was so relaxed and confident knowing what the worktop taught me.

The work shop was great fun and the way Alfie helped us develop the ideas we came up with was flexible and encouraged individual styles as well as offering a bunch of approaches on how to find and structure comedy from our lives and observations. It rested on the solid ground of truth, a place we can rely on the way a juggler can be sure that the ground will catch anything he misses. So be prepared to shed any self illusions for what appears to be an open door way to being funny.

I recently attended Alfie's Comedy Storytelling course and although I did struggle on the day, it was lots of fun with loads of info crammed in. Greatly enjoyed the day and Alfie is a great teacher with a very fun way of doing things. I highly recommend this workshop, for any budding comedians or anyone really, that wants to add a bit of humour to their stories

If you wanna inch your way towards stand-up or public speaking, then this workshop will be ideal. You will learn stage-craft, the rules of writing stand up, critique your own work, perform for 5 minutes if you require, get valuable feedback, and so much more! The day was fun and informative and will teach you a lot. Highly recommended! Thanks Simon
