His quick/urgent response and reassurance and guidance kept me from panicking and calm. He did also make sure I was ok, give me a reassuring hug and made sure I was ok to continue my Journey. 5 minutes from my house, goes to Manchester and Manchester airport, can also very conveniently be used for Liverpool city center. It has a lift which was very good for when I was walking with crutches for a long period of time.

Relatively modern compared to much of the rest of the Merseyrail stations, including lifts for disabled access. City line trains run through here from Liverpool Lime Street out towards Wigan and Warrington. There's some seating on this platform but not much in the way of shelter.
