I have been with them since June 2021, I was told I would get talk therapy and adhd assessments which I understand all take time. But I have had the worst experience I have ever with a mental health service, I was calling my doctor everyday who was emailing, calling and sending letters stating that i desperately needed help. I ended up in hospital from a mental breakdown and almost cost me my life, this was back in october. Since then my care coordinator had an operation, not her fault she needs more time off for it, but the fact I haven't heard from them since December 2021 and it is now March 2022. I am in desperate need for therapy and a medication review and every time I have called they've said We will be in touch and nothing. My mother was under their care and was traumatized further from the experience as she was diagnosed with DID and there ways of treating people have caused her to have further difficulties with day to day life, she struggles to do things alone still to this day. They were not equipped for such a mental illness and had great disregard for her health entirely. It's heartbreaking to see the reviews others have left and to hear every time I mention Berkeley House people say they are s***. Some of us can not afford to go private, but it seems like the only option for actual help.

The team are incompetent, patronising and condescending. I was told verbally that they had googled my symptoms and other people deal with it so why can't I. Avoid at all costs

This team did irreparable harm to my life. The psychiatrist whose incompetence nearly cost me my life is still there. They are careless, they cannot assess people correctly, because of this they do not offer relevant help. They do not record information correctly, do not listen to patients or families and do not care about the wellbeing of patients so are happy to leave people in dangerous situations. The incorrect assessments they did of me still endanger my life today and there is nothing I can do about it because they are credible in society and I am worthless lunatic... because they say so. Please stay away from these people, you are worth more than that. If you are tempted to believe they are experts and care about you as I did, please heed my warning because these things are lies. They do not know you, they do not care about you, they will stand by and let you suffer and die in humiliation and misery before lifting a finger to help you.
