On the whole, apart from property checks, I have mostly had positive helpful assistance from most of the council staff. We are alot better off here than some other councils. Update - how long do I have to wait for a call back? 26/04/2023.

Absolutely appalling service, I am registered disabled and in a bungalow, I have phoned many times to ask the contractor who works for the council, ian williams, to put in a shower screen in my wet room, so my careers can stand at the side to shower me without getting wet, had two guys come to measure, then you never hear anymore from them, I thought disabled tenants should be classed as urgent. Just send me a free standing screen, that's all I want, appalling service, my carers have now refused to come

Awful, cant even fulfil basic services. 3 times we asked for a smaller black waste bin and they failed 3 times despite follow-ups (Gave up in the end). Not fit for purpose... Also the new waste contractors often miss food waste collection and happy drop litter when it falls from raising bins ,no effort at all to clean up mess when this happens. (But hey the bin men/women of yesteryear are long gone!) - Well done Waverley BC you must be so proud!

While there are superb staff working at the Burys, you do unfortunately have to find them. Then your communication will be good and problems solved. It is a matter of just not accepting the rudeness and incompetence and asking for a Manager / filing a complaint so that the situation is then reviewed. With me, it was always just a question of incorrectly assessing payments and my accounts. I never got an apology despite screw up after screw up on their end. I found many of the staff have a God complex and seem to feel that they are superior. They create all kinds of non existent issues while trying to be negative. But when you find someone who has the knowledge and experience, it’s a breeze. So easy.

Taken nearly 3 months since ordering house bins and still no bins. Ridiculous when they charge for bins in the first place
