Ticket collection machine issued tickets where the ink was entirely missing and feint. Went to counter to be told I must of rubbed it off with my fingers by a lady who preferred to blame me rather than deal with the issue! Another lady then told me that it was reported the day before but no one gave any consideration to putting an out of order notice on the machine. Tickets are expensive and I expect people to be helpful and put corrective actions in place when machines fail to print. After all what’s the use of a blank ticket! On the whole journey I got questioned and had to explain the situation as they could not be reprinted. Watford junction station is dreadful and true to form no apology, no help, no care and having paid a fortune the risk was still on me. Please at least try and live up to your marketing messages as the train set in the uk is diabolical. Love every minute hardly.

I travel to St albans Abbey everyday from Watford Junction. For context I am a 22year old. I went to the ticket stand and accidently pressed St Albans City and got confused when it was so much more expensive. So I went to the counter and this lady with thick black glasses by the name of Gina served me. She asked me where I was going and slip of the tongue and mind I said St albans city. Bare in mind I have not been feeling well recently and have had a tough time - not that this should matter with how you treat people. She said it was more expensive. Then I said oh sorry I meant St albans Abbey. And she pulled back looked at me like I was stupid and said "well you told me St Albans city" and changed her attitude adopting an extremely rude tone with me and shaking her head. I said sorry it was a slip of the tongue. She held her hand up and walked away from me saying "no. Bye bye.". When I was simply saying I was not being rude it was a mistake. She left me upset and crying on my commute to work and saw me crying talking to her colleague and did not bat an eyelid. Extremely rude. For some reason, I highly doubt if an elder person to me had made the same mistake She would've just walked off. That is no way to treat someone. When a train station is plastered with signs saying "its ok not to be ok" but staff treat people that rudely for a simple mistake that can be fixed by a click of a few buttons - it's hard to believe they are there to help.

I fell down the stairs once as they were soaking wet, but there wasn’t any warning anywhere about them actually being wet. Train staff couldn’t care less and my complaint wasn’t followed up. It seems the only updates this station has really had are the Harry Potter logos, when it's the station itself that needs to be completely modernised. Especially the amount of passengers we now have that have been led to believe Harry Potter is in London and find themselves in Watford!!! These logos might be great marketing for Harry Potter, but the station now has such a huge number of passengers they need to invest a little back to help give the station an update, and let the visitors to Harry Potter know where to get their bus to Leavesden! :) V

(Translated by Google) Thanks with this review to the staff of the train that goes from London to the Warner. We forgot a backpack on the train in the morning when going to the studios and with our bad English and his good aptitude we were able to understand each other and they found it for us and kept it so that we could retrieve it when we got back. Thank you very much. Muchas gracias.
