We bought a new Bavaria sailing cruiser seven years ago from Steve Gunn at Clipper Marine. Recently we decided that, after nine yachts and fifty years cruising, it was time to hang up our oilskins. I decided to sell through Clipper, mainly because of a good experience buying new but also because I thought they would, as Bavaria agents, be best able to talk prospective buyers through the details of a Bavaria yacht. I contacted Steve. From that point everything went smoothly and calmly. Listing details were agreed on a morning and Steve had two viewings that afternoon. The boat was sold subject to survey two days later. Steve also arranged lift out and replacement of the sail drive diaphragm, required every seven years and of course needed for the sale. Diaphragm job and survey completed, the yacht was relaunched and the sale completed a few days later, less than a month after listing. Sale proceeds were paid promptly. Well done, Steve.

What a fantastic team! Purchased our first motor boat a month ago, she is a dream! The Clipper Marine team were great, professional and knowledgeable and despite being a second hand boat, Ben and his team bent over backwards to make the experience special. We took delivery in Swanwick marina, and the team had everything ready for us, cleaned and polished; ready to go! Even a last minute technical fine tuning of the chart plotter was made by James to make sure the setup was how we wanted it. We'll definitely be back for our next purchase!
