Attended for a Donuts & Eclairs class. Overall, I felt that the experience was just OK as it didn't meet my expectations. On arrival, was asked if we wanted a drink and (I think) the drinks menu came without prices. The drink was served and then a while later was asked to pay. I think with the phrasing of the offer, it seemed to me like it was included in the experience... When being divvyed up between the mixers and the ovens, as a single person and I think for the other couples, the teacher split everyone up, which I don't think quite needed to happen and there was a lot of sharing between mixture and trays, which just felt a bit weird. No timer was set and products got a bit burnt. I felt instruction could have been much better in terms of piping the eclairs, especially for those that are beginners. When it came to making the donuts, however, which I expected to be a yeasted recipe, we made some sort of cake batter(?!). We poured this into essentially poorly sprayed cupcake mould trays and shipped out of the class. I felt very disappointed with this given they offer classes on more complex baking good i.e. macarons. The floor was also **incredibly** slippy. There is 100% an accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this experience.

What a really nice experience...our hosts kept giving us tips throughout the class which added to the taught session..The place is bright and airy with great equipment and somewhere to sit and eat what we had prepared...I hope to get back soon maybe to a masterclass on a Saturday!

We were at a seafood and fish cookery course today, hosted by Niall and Claire. We were taught how to cook 4 dishes. The amount of detail in the course was fantastic, once we cooked each dish we sat down at a family style table and ate each dish, accompanied with wine. Niall and Claire were really engaging and so knowledgeable, I honestly left feeling I could cook those four dishes competently myself and I'm no cook! I highly recommend this to anyone. Such good fun!

I recently took a cookery class at Waterman House Cookery School in Belfast and it was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the facilities, the state-of-the-art kitchens, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. The class I took was focused on Christmas Cooking and our instructors were knowledgeable, passionate and patient, always taking the time to explain the techniques and ingredients used in each course. The class was fun, engaging and informative, and I left with new recipes and lots of cooking tips. I attended as part of a work event and I would highly recommend a cookery class at Waterman for anyone looking to organise some team building or a post-work social event.

Fantastic cooking class experience with Niall Mckenna in the heart of Belfast. We attended the Masterclass in fish & shellfish in august! We learned so much in the 4hrs and ate plenty. Learning how to cook fish properly and how to build flavour were the highlights for me. We will return very soon!
