Greens are great, fast and challenging. However the course itself isn’t particularly interesting or scenic. The coffee in the clubhouse might be the worst I’ve ever had. Friendly pro and nice shop. Stuck behind a members fourball for five hours despite being on the tee with them from the third. Green fee might be £10-£15 too high for what it is.

It still amazes me that some people have never heard of this club. The course is challenging, the greens are always in really good condition - even in the depths of winter - and the members and bar staff are very welcoming. Give it a go!

A great and challenging golf course. The greens are outstanding and extremely well maintained. If you’ve not played here for a few years you must return to experience the improvements; bunkers are beautifully manicured and the drainage work has done wonders to the course in the wetter months. The new head chef (previously of The Briny) has created an exciting new menu too.
