This is a good station. Although there is no step free access from the entrance opposite the main entrance to Waterloo underground station. There are 76 steps up to the top, if you want to use step free access you have to go into Waterloo (main station)The station doesn’t have a lot of information screens and it is also quite old and run down. But there is a Starbucks on platform B/C and a waiting room and also a piano up in the bridge between the platforms.

Really terrible it took me like 15 minutes to find this station. There is literally a really small sign post that says Waterloo East you literally need a magnifying glass find. It is based on Sandwell Lane. Needs to be better sign posted.

Nice staff but this station badly needs a lift. It's a long way over the footbridge and back.

Entrance from the street is actually on Sandell street, just over the road from waterloo main station, then up about 5 flights of stairs. there's also a footbridge from waterloo main. Fairly poorly signposted. As stations go, not a particularly nice example...

Awful station location wise. There are no clear signs and takes ages to find it if you are not a regular traveller from this station.
