5 stars for Bonnie the massage therapist, she is great at her job and I want to go back. The spa could use some work, steam room was noisy and there was not enough steam. There was dirty brown water sitting underneath were you rest the cup to fill with drinking water. My wife’s massage therapist was not good and cut the massage short. My rating would be lower but Bonnie is has brought it up.

A rare jewel in the coastlines of beautiful Dover Kent where it may not always be sunny but regardless the experience well covers that. Professional exceptional service from real professionals, you know that can be hard to find especially in these modern times that’s why thankfully they cater with the beautiful old with the new. The room was more than comfortable, sea-view balcony. Worth it. Aren’t you? :) we all deserve to be pampered in trying times of life so the spa was also a beautiful welcome with a huge array of amenities all with wheelchair accessibility so that you can feel better too :) coast of Kent it’s a Royal gem for a reason! Thank you to all the wonderful team for making my stay a wonderful calm and rejuvenating one. Yes there’s a bar football too. In fact their old school hospitality is never truly out of fashion. :) beautiful sights lots to see. I recommend The Castle, if you’re into that. The choice is always ours haha.

I don’t like the massage I received - the masseuse didn’t seem to like her job. First I was brought to a waiting room to sit for 10 mins, not sure why because she said she had a quiet day so I guess she could have prepared the room for me as I booked in advance. I booked a treatment for 30 minutes but it ended after 24 mins. I guess this is not the place for me…

Feel bad for my daughter today. She booked a spa day for mothers day today. We got up early to enjoy a 'spa' day today for Mother's Day at this place. Its not cheap, we were asked to pay extra for a towel and robe at the desk and told steam room light not working. The 'spa' is in the basement a rabbit warren of corridors with doors going off everywhere. Went in the sauna which was ok, empty bucket and ladle for pouring water on the stones. No probs, we went into the hall to the drinking fountain to fill the bucket o find drinking fountain not working... ok, we thought, lets try the steam room - not only was the light not working, the entire steam room not working either. Thought we would try the spa pool. Jeez, was like sitting in luke warm dirty bath water. No chlorine smell so I don't think it had any and as for the jets... a dog walking by you and passing wind would have had a stronger effect. Not happy and disturbed the pool had no chlorine (with covid about) we decided to leave. We had been their approx 35 minutes at this point... We went to the changing room to get a shower - only cold water! As it happens the woman from the desk walked in. I complained and she said - the steam room would be fixed at 'some point' today. I said we were not happy and she said she was sorry and would talk to us when changed at the desk. Went to the desk - no one at the desk... I feel like my daughter was totally ripped off. Every other place from here to Ashford is far better. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had an amazing raindrop massage today, the lady that did it was friendly and professional. The massage itself was truly amazing and relaxing, just the right amount of pressure, will definitely return again soon, thank you so much. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that we wasn't offered robes to change into , although this maybe because the jacuzzi was out of action. We was made aware of this prior to our arrival and given complemetary vouchers to use the facilities another day which was a lovely gesture

Good points- Relation room was lovely and calming Showers were amazing Massage was great Blonde lady was lovely and helpful Sarah was so attentive and friendly Bad points- The jacuzzi was broken The steam room smelt and had a loud banging coming from pipes We were left wondering corridors not knowing what we were meant to do next as we were left to our own devices, bags includes. The worst? The small lady at the welcome desk down stairs was observed being incredably rude to both guests and staff. Customer service/ customer relations training is required immediately, if not a staff shake up as this woman alone gave such a low star review and will in time cost the business greatly I'm sure. She was awful!
