A great little CL but with a few exceptions. The pitches are well laid out and level. The recycling facilities are exactly as you would expect and toilet waste disposal was also good and very usable. Tony was very welcoming and came out to greet us and made us very welcome. We arrived after some heavy rain and the rain continued during our stay. It was also winter time. We had looked for a site with hard standing but unfortunately the site was very water logged with some minor flooding onto the pitch. The truthful only reason we would maybe not stay here again is the access gate. The issue is the sight lines when you pull out. The road is a 60mph road and cars and vans come around the corner from the woods far too fast. The issue is you have visibility of 50m which at 60mph is 2 seconds before the approaching car is on you. A mirror on the opposite side of the road may be helpful, but I'm concerned there will be an accident here sooner or later if there hasn't already been.

Afraid the low rating is due to the neighbours dogs and no reflection on Tony and Penny or watercress itself which is a lovely well laid out site.. Unfortunately due to the neighbours feral dogs which roamed freely barking 24/7 this is a site we couldn't endorse. Being woken up constantly night after night made this stay a little tainted.

Visually and layout-wise this is a nice CL site with plenty of space and easy access. But I’ve marked it down due to very noisy dogs in the neighbouring rear property. There are around 4 dogs, whose owner is quite happy for them to roam free over their land and bark constantly all times of the day. Everyday, and mostly for hours at a time, the dogs would bark, even right through the night making sleep impossible without wearing noise reduction iPods. Our travelling companions complained to the owners, who were completely impotent to stop the barking. We were there for 6 out of 7 nights and we were asked to pay for our stay before arrival? Make what you will from that? We couldn’t leave earlier as we had business in the area. So, if you like a CL site with a nice layout and appearance, with the added bonus of very noisy dogs constantly barking right behind your caravan/Motorhome at all times of the day, then this is the site for you! We will not be returning.

Fantastic site and lovely people greeted us as we arrived and were very helpful. The site is very spacious and beautifully kept, the gardens are lovely all around the edges. The villages around are beautiful and lovely walks everywhere. I can't give this place enough stars.

Lovely CL, CAMC members only. Beautifully spaced out site with hardstanding pitches. Fresh water taps nearby, as well as recycling facilities and waste disposal. Friendly and welcoming owners.30 minute walk into lovely town of Pluckley which has a nice pub, The Black Horse, with a superb local butchers opposite. 2 excellent walks done around Pluckley, and the other pub, The Dering Arms, near the station is also recommended, great tapas
