We loved our stay here in the luxury camping pod. The site is beautifully kept, staff very friendly & helpful. The pod is well equipped with very good underfloor heating. Lots of good walks nearby as well as a shop & pubs in the village. What more could you ask for?

We attended this campsite a few years ago but since the national trust has taken over the prices are ludicrous. We may as well go stay in a cheap hotel rather then pitching the tent as it’s less hassle and the same price.

Great little site, good shower block. Dogs welcome. Friendly staff. Mill next door with tours. Plenty of walks. St Ives is a 45 minute level walk along the river. 2 pubs in village also a small supermarket. Highly recommended.

Great campsite but some strange points to be aware off- u can't have 2 sleeping areas, I have a teardrop caravan the kids sleep in and me in a tent- not allowed. Put a fire put up- as did other not allowed. That wasn't the problem it was the incredibly rude volunteer who demanded we put it out! power junky , misogynist as when talking to a family with a man- still rude but less so. He spoil the whole weekend. The manager did apologise. Would love to go back but as kids can't be left alone in a a box with a tent next to it I'm a bit stuff. But then wouldn't want to risk the noctural dictator. I would encourage the shop to sell charcoal if they are the only fuel allowed.
