We started our swimming lessons when my little girl was about 8 months old, I would’ve started so much sooner but covid had other plans! Firstly the staff are always always so helpful! Wendy has always been so attentive and helpful! Secondly Hayley, our swim teacher is just amazing! Always makes me and my little one feel so at ease and comfortable from our first lessons, my little one is 2 in September and the journey and confidence she now has in the water is just so amazing to see, she’s come on so much and that’s all thanks to Hayley and the amazing lessons. I can’t recommend her enough. I wanted a swimming lesson that was not just sensory play in the water and that actually taught my daughter safety skills and it is exactly that. It is one of the classes I will always be thankful we started because of how much it has taught both me and my daughter! Thank you so much to all the team and thank you to Hayley for the amazing support and confidence she gives my little one! Xx

We have just loved water babies and can’t recommend them enough! We have taken 3 children through from soon after birth up to school age. In all our first sessions there are children ranging from 5 weeks up to 12 months, but the teachers were able to cater to all of these ages and stages. We have always been impressed that the water babies staff really REALLY know babies and children, and adjust their lessons and approach to each individual child taking into consideration their personality and stage of development from new-borns through to school aged children. And they ensure progress is made always. All of my children learnt to swim independently by age 3, and more importantly our lessons have been a weekly ritual for the last 8 years of one-on-one time with no interruptions doing an activity that is lots of fun. There are few activities that are so engaging to young babies not to mention a crucial life skill. Thanks Water Babies team!

Love Waterbabies! We started when my daughter was 3 months old amidst the COVID restrictions of 2020 and was one of the few classes available. I was so keen for my daughter to love swimming as much as I do and she absolutely adores it. The class sizes are small and at pitched at the right level with great instructors. As a result we have an extremely confident water baby on our hands!

Water babies did an incredible job getting my very nervous 2 year old comfortable in water again. The instructor was very patient with him and me that after just one block he would join in all the songs giggling with the other children. Thank you.

I’ve been taking my son to these classes since he was 8 weeks old (now 7 months) and I think you can really see the benefits when the moves learnt from the start are joined together in term 2 onwards. He seems to understand the commands taught in class since about 4.5-5 months - I use them in daily activities as well as in class. The songs are very catchy and seem to put a smile on my babies face whenever he hears them. As well as learning water safety, These classes have been a great way for me and my baby to meet like-minded people and generate some really strong bonds. The only negatives I can think of are menial. The classes are more expensive than others, but I am happy with the quality of the teaching and individual child attention provided. It would be nice to get some achievement certificates for my baby (with his name age and what he’s learnt) - this isn’t currently provided and I’ve had to ask a number of times for the song words (that are sang in class). Term 2’s have been sent by message after a number of requests but it would be beneficial for the parents to receive a termly booklet with the songs and words / what we’re going to learn or even an email or a video link showing a teacher singing the songs. But overall I would definitely recommend waterbabies. It’s definitely worth starting your baby early too. My baby loves his classes and now recognises his fellow waterbabies in and outside of class.

Our little boy loves his swimming lessons and it's fantastic how much his confidence in the water has improved. As parents we're also much more confident in his safety around water The lessons have allowed him to progress much faster than he could have done any other way.
