Watch Shop refused to send the watch I ordered to my home address. I was told it wasn't on their system. When buying you need to enter delivery details and my address was automatically populated by their website so it obviously recognised my address. Royal Mail (and every other parcel delivery service) deliver regularly to our address, so the issue is with Watch Shop and not Royal Mail. Its also the billing address for the card I used. I explained all of that to Watch Shop customer service and the email I got back was "Nope, need another address or cancel it".

Stay away from that seller. Rude and cheeky staff. If for any reason your watch wouldn't be as expected, they will tell you to send watch back. I was told to send over for examination and end up with no watch and no money. Terrible service.

Regarding the watchshop.com Quality products, unless you receive the one of a few damaged products, which requires a human to respond. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I've on multiple occasions found this to be the case! First time I didn't leave a review... briefly the watch I'd purchased was marked and scratched in several places, it took months of battling with their customer service to receive an exchange. They requested me to send the watch back, fine ok- standard procedure... But then they wanted me to repurchase the watch.. Prior to sending it back, the watch had increased in priced and that's when the battle began for them to honour the initial discounted price! It was their stock that was faulty. Again it took months of battling to get a resolution. Most recently, I enquired with regard to their "We price match" USP... I sent over details and screenshots and links as evidence and checked that it was a reputable company. Firstly, the representative directed me to their homepage and said to fill out an application form, if she had any customer service- she would have cut and pasted the information and submitted it for me, with a back up email to advise of their procedure bit as a gesture of goodwill she filled out the form. But she didn't. She continued to parrot scripted information and "I'm sorry you feel that way". Anyone who knows, that's just going to add fuel to the flames?! Then I get a response from their "automated" price match saying it had been declined with a bog standard scripted vague reply of what it could be. Except the company was in the UK, they were legally allowed to sell the branded watches, the watch was on sale, just as it was on watchshop... the company is not in any form of liquidation... and the sale price was £118.99, the company had a discount which could be applied on top which lowered the watch to £107.99. I could have accepted a price match of the £118.99, however as there was no reason behind why my price match was declined, no way to appeal. So don't believe the "We price match" USP... I replied to the representative and am currently waiting a reply. One in which I am not hopeful for a positive outcome. I have shopped with watchshop for years and it was only until I required help, I found that it would be a far more pleasant experience shopping elsewhere.

After checking on the website, I went to Reading branch on the 24/09 asking to see a few watches as I was looking for a specific size to wear it with a suit. I saw one of them (a Seiko) and ask for another Seiko which they didn’t have. I was told it would be order for me to check it physically so I can take a decision and also, they offered me to keep the price advertised on the website (less than £135 for a Seiko from £280 original price). I was told that in two three days it would be delivered and they would phone me to let me know. On Friday 30th, I went to the shop as I didn’t receive any updates. A woman in the shop said they had not received it yet but she was chasing it up to get it delivered as soon as possible. I went today too (06/10/2021) as I checked the website and the watch was sold out. My surprise came when the guy who offered me to order it to the shop said the he sold it. He said he received the watch and he sold it yesterday. I told him nobody had phoned me about the availability of the watch and all I got was a sorry. I was shocked, angry… I didn’t know what to say. It is unbelievable that I told him I would not buy it online just to do it from the shop and he didn’t care at all. I bought a £450 Citizen watch from this shop (order ***5933), my fiancée has bought another watch from them but we will never go back. Buy watches online or somewhere else!! If I could I would give minus stars.
