    Brought in my quartz watch for a battery change which took 10 minutes and was then charged £40! Just read in the comments that another customer was charged £20 for a battery change a few months ago, which was already perceived expensive (a very well reviewed shop down the road seems to be doing it for closer to £10). Leaves a very bad aftertaste and feel I got ripped off so cannot recommend and will go elsewhere going forward. Please avoid

    My Rolex Datejust automatic watch was taken to you by my dear friend Dr Pramilla Senanayake who was travelling to the UK. The watch needed servicing and attention to some malfunctions. My friend came back to Sri Lanka this month and I have now had the watch for a few days. I am writing to confirm that the watch is running very well and keeping to time quite well. Of course, it is just what one would expect from a Rolex. I am so grateful for your attention and the services provided. It is also quite interesting that I bought the watch through Garrard in London in 1983 for the princely sum of GBP 600/-. Times have of course changed and the service/repair bill this time came to GBP 440/-. I believe that the current price of a similar model is around GBP 4600/-. Thank you so much.
