Qui k snappy reception desk also have self check in terminals inorder to minimise queuing large waiting rooms with plenty of room for social distancing if necessary. Polite and courteous staff both at the front desk and drs/nurses

Can’t rate 0 otherwise I would. Spoke to a doctor at 9am and a prescription was sorted and told to collect a couple hours later. Went in at 2:30pm to be told I’m not registered at the chemist next door although I’ve been there since I was born 25 years ago and prescription hasn’t been signed yet. (5hours later) went back at 5pm as instructed and still the prescription hadn’t been signed. Will have to wait till the following morning. Embarrassingly poor practise. Luckily I hardly ever need to use it.

I've been with this practice 5 years. Over that time I've seen the ability to book appointments become more difficult. Can't phone. Appointment app down. Paid £90 for a private consultation as couldn't wait. I'm lucky I can afford. What gets me is that when it comes to jabs whether it flu or Covid-19 practice super efficient in pushing appointment texts to me. Not a surprise as for each jab the practice gets money from Gov. So it is also more profitable to give you flu and Covid-19 at same time. Gone is the day of a preferred arm. Efficiencies and profit come first. So if the practice really wanted to the booking system and patient ability to make a booking could be better. I would say though that when you do get to see a doctor the service and skills excellent. It's just that you can't get appointments easily. It's no surprise people head to and clog up A&E. I also understand lack of funding for training doctors from Gov is key issue. I'd rather honesty re getting appointments rather than pushing you away via stealth.

I have been with this practice for years now and never had an issue with them but I wanted to leave a review because of the new staff they have had working there, dr ressel in particular is an absolute credit to the surgery and will take any issues you have seriously and get you referred to the right places asap. There was another lady who sometimes comes over from wythenshawe hospital too who is also great. Nice clean place too and receptionists are lovely :)

At the forefront of patient care for 50 years + *** Update Oct 2021 *** Sadly having to edit this post I cannot begin to say how visible the decline in service has been during and post-Covid. ***Update March 2022*** Glad to report that things are getting back to normal.
