Staff are a combination between helpful and useless, kind and rude, supportive and lazy. Hard work is put in, but there isn't enough staff or funding, so things remain broken, dirty, or impractical. Expect to wait a while for a key to your own room. Service charge is fair, and staff are on site 24/7. Residents are a mixed bag of crazy, thieves, or druggies, but many are also kind hearted and a good laugh. Keep to yourself, and it's a place worth staying until somewhere better comes along. Food is always decent, location is great. Better than the streets. Some rooms are substantially nicer than others, from ensuite bathrooms, showers, and kitchen spaces, to having to share those utilities while living in an oversized cupboard. Good luck, and if they try to send you to a shared housing provider, make sure to ask around, because some of them are garbage.

When I came here four days ago as a place of Safety, I was met by profoundly caring staff. We undertook the initial assessment and I was offered a room. The room is disabled friendly and spacious. It as all the necessary amenities. As a person who as worked within the Industry for over 40 years, I know what to expect. I came with a open mind, knowing the provision and nature of the accommodation being provided... It is a Short Term Hostel and Night-shelter providing good food and a welcoming atmosphere.... Yes some of the residents are on the path of being the most marginalised human beings in the city. Trident endeavour to help and support them into healthier lifestyles, but do not hold any negative perceptions against any of those in their care. They have carried out the essential repairs and provided a Case-Worker within 48 hours. They have very realistic and effective insights into the vulnerabilities of those in their charge. The rest is laid within the choice of their residents. Trident staff are very supportive and caring. They are here to help, they do not deserve to be verbally abused by those who refrain from following their basic rules of respect. As an ex-drug user, alcoholic and gambler, I once was on that journey of Self-Destruction, then I turned my life around and I have theSupport of some very caring Friends and Associates from within numerous Professional Organisations and charities. They have been a lifeline anAna blessing... They only want to help where they are able. I know Trident have a very good reputation and I for one is glad of their help and support. I am safe and is very much respected back. I also know what their policies and procedures are and look forward in due course to be supported into progressing into a self-contained property. If not by Trident Reach itself, I am confident they will refer me to the right organisations who are able to support me in finding the most suitable accommodation which is best and which will meet my needs through disabilities which make me more vunerable than most being considered as Street Homeless. Thank you Trident for providing me with an opportunity to feel safe, well cared for, respected and effectively supported. A big shout out to the Team and all the Staff... It as been an honour and a privilidge to meet and work with you all... Thank you... You have all been amazing... You are all amazing and do an excellent job... You should feel proud of your achievements. You are truly special each and every one of you. God bless each and everyone of you.........
