RUDE STAFF! I got to the address and wanted to check in quick as I had a wedding to get to and was told that I didn’t pay for the room (I paid a month before going) I showed two proofs of purchase and showed my booking reference but this was still not good enough, it was clearly an error on the system and the member of staff Chloe was no help in any way and came across quite abrupt. She was not working with us therefore I had to pay again, she then send a colleague to the wrong floor for their room and she didn’t even know the layout of the building. The morning after I was hoping to be greeted by another member of staff and thankfully I was, I didn’t catch her name but she was happy to work with me and resolved the issue and explained about the error which was made! The place was great and the room was very nice however Chloe was not and unfortunately our business will not be using this hotel again

Haustiere sind nach Absprache erlaubt :) (Translated by Google) Family hotel with lots of parking space. It is conveniently located, but is still quiet in the evenings. From the outside it is lovingly designed, but the interior is a bit old. Our room was still OK considering the good price and all the employees are very friendly and tried hard. Pets are allowed on request :)

Stayed here for 4 nights. On the second night found ants in my bathroom. Got moved rooms but left my spare insulin in the fridge only to realise the next day. Went to reception to be told this had been binned. No apllogy from the duty manager. Rooms need updated, carpets need ripped out and changed. If your a contractor watch your van as my colleagues got broken into on the first night (this was a ford transit). I wouldnt stay here again!!!

Just loved the quiet location and fabulous caring staff. Yes in parts it needed upgrading and the painter was busy. Their pillows leave a lot to be desired and rooms might need a closer inspection before occupation to ensure everything works rather than guests having to report. The staff go the extra mile to ensure ones stay is a good experience. I need to store my this was resolved by them quickly putting a small fridge in the room for our stay at no extra cost. Very definitely will be back.

Do I really have to score 1 ? Don't be fooled by the images as not a true reflection of what the hotel looks like, I'm not a complainer but as the room is so sub standard I have to warn would be stayers, booked a king room with a balcony and overlooking gardens sounds idylic after a long day, I got a room with no balcony and overlooking a field right on a major main road, no double glazing so very noisy and drafty as windows don't close properly, carpets badly stained and dirty, bed large yes but sinks in the middle, quilt is too small for the bed as sits on top with no overhang so when you move very drafty and cold, as a result of noise and poor quality didn't sleep, booked for 3 nights due to work commitments so asked to be moved due to wrong room and noise, argued about my booking said I got what I booked ( although confirmation email states garden view) asked to cancel remaining 2 nights to go elsewhere, room non refundable although sub standard, so stuck here ! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY HERE, EVEN AT £110 PER NIGHT IT REALLY IS NOT WORTH IT It's made my stay very miserable if I didn't have to be here for work I would happily drive home, I stay away frequently and have NEVER felt like this or stayed in such a tired run down hotel I have taken photos and if there is an option to upload them I will Name Deb Bessant not Grinter can't change it, but can verify my stay Unfortunately want let me upload photos, but I will be posting on other social media platforms c/w images
