FAQ

What types of livestock do you auction and how often?

We auction a variety of livestock, including cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry. The frequency of auctions varies depending on demand and availability, but we typically have several auctions per month.

What types of items are typically sold in judicial auctions?

Judicial auctions typically involve the sale of assets that have been seized by the government or courts, such as real estate, vehicles, and personal property. These auctions are often held to recover debts or settle legal disputes.

How do you handle the bidding process during an auction?

Our bidding process is transparent and fair. Bidders are required to register before the auction and provide identification. During the auction, bids are accepted verbally or through hand signals, and our auctioneers ensure that each bid is clearly heard and understood. The highest bidder at the close of the auction is the winner.

What fees are associated with using your auction services?

Our fees vary depending on the type and value of the items being auctioned. We charge a commission on the final sale price, as well as any additional fees for services such as advertising or transportation. We provide a clear breakdown of all fees to our clients before the auction.

How do you ensure fair and ethical bidding practices among buyers?

We have strict policies in place to prevent collusion or other unethical bidding practices. Bidders are required to register and provide identification, and our auctioneers monitor the bidding closely to ensure that it is conducted fairly and transparently. We also provide training and guidance to our staff on ethical auction practices.

We often pick antiques and collectibles up from here. Always so.e interesting stuff in the auctions. On street parking costs 50p - watch out for traffic wardens. Train station is a 5 minute brisk walk away.

Pleasant enough staff, they got the 2 stars... I took a portrait in for valuation.. came back at 40 quid. Then next day a follow up call saying it was actually Β£400. Sold it the next day on ebay for Β£2000. Probably best to get 2nd opinions

Was buying here for years and a very loyal customer, unfortunately I had noticed that when the hammer goes down by the in house auctioneer and it is confirmed on screen that you are the winner it doesn't actually mean that. I took a screenshot of my winning bid and I am now starting a small claim in court due to there refusal to honour, no time delay as the auctioneer didn't even respond to any bids after I had won the lot, how on earth could the saleroom even function if there was a significant time delay, its laughable.I smell a rat!!

Having dealt with Warwick Auctions on a monthly basis for neigh on a decade; I feel inclined to write a review about my experiences. They have fortnightly sales every month with a variety of products. Specialized sales are highlighted inviting clientele from a plethora of places. With high end items such as a rare Chinese table selling for circa Β£17k. From one sale to another you never know what will come through the doors! The staff are polite, helpful and make the process of buying your items an ease! A special mention must go out to Claire who has helped me on many a quandary over the years diligently and with a smile on her face. Mr Ali.
