Just back from a fantastic week in North Yorkshire our base being Warsett cottage. Breath taking views from the cottage welcoming gifts of scones for us when we arrived. Cottage was clean and prepared nicely in advance of our arrival. Outstanding views from the cottage over the hills and sea. Fantastic walks along the Cleveland way and Whitby, Staithes, Saltburn all within an easy drive. Cottage was well equipped and in good condition considering it was dog friendly. We were very fortunate with the weather so we spent alot of time out and about but warsett cottage was a great place to return to at the end of each day. Was a bit strange being so close to the owner and family who live in the attached building but they were very non intrusive, polite and friendly. Shame the fences around were not secure for the smaller dogs but was not a huge issue just had to keep a close eye on the smaller dog. No phone signal inside but got a signal when outside, decent WiFi would have been useful for when planning days out on good ole Google maps etc. Managed to get onto house WiFi when outside as 4G or H was only available when you moved away from the property. We had a fantastic week and made some treasured memories, will hope to return as still lots of the Yorkshire coast and countryside to explore.
