Beautiful Victorian pool with sunlight streaming in. Just re-opened. No seats in foyer to take off shoes. Poolside changing cubicles were dirty and staff did not know about regular cleaning.

So impressed with the refurb (though it sure took a while!). The place is looking beautiful with a simple, elegant blend of old and new that packs a lot in a small, Victorian building. Both the pool and gym feel light and airy. Enthusiast swimmers may prefer the Commie for its wide, 50m lanes (Warrender is 5 narrow-ish, 25 yard lanes) but it's still good for a quick, local swim and you won't find a sauna at the Commie either!

Lovely Victorian swimming pool. Glorious to swim at on a sunny day with the glass roof! Staff were really helpful regarding new Covid procedures and it all felt very safe. Everyone has their own distanced cubicle, which are cleaned between bookings.

Beautiful old victorian building. Pool is a good temperature and very clean. It feels fairly covid secure with booked times for swimming. Can be a bit challenging if the lanes are busy though as there is only a slow or a fast lane - I need a medium one!
