We booked Warren lodges through hoseasons. At a first glance the site looks amazing, very picturesque. When we arrived, we were given the key to our lodge, and a pass to the gym and swimming pool, which we could use at any time which was great. We stayed in lodge number 26 (which has already been mentioned on the reviews) as we pulled up in the driveway, we instantly saw cigarette butts on the floor outside the front door, that hadn't been cleaned up, then it just got worse from there... There were ants on the floor in the living room and bathroom. we couldn't use our en-suite in the main bedroom, as it was blocked and flooded the bath room when we used it. we were given no floor towels or hand towels. I Went to cook dinner on the first night and found that we had no chopping boards, so i rang the main office and we got it the next day... Opened the cupboards to find a half eaten pack of biscuits, dirty glasses in the cupboard, the oven was disgusting as well. The floor boards are all loose in the kitchen area, and considering it is a 6 man lodge, there are no where near enough utensils, pots and pans for that many people. We had no bin liners in any of the bins, I know it's a self catered lodge, but it's standard to get at least one bin liner. In the cupboard there was a cigarette filter on the floor, I could just go on and on. Some of these issues were sorted on day 2, however we got in contact with hoseasons, to make them aware of these issues, and we managed to get a 10% refund on our holiday from Warren lodges, which was a pittance considering what we've had to put up with. The worst of all was as we were packing to leave, I noticed something poking from underneath the bed, so I grabbed it and instantly threw it on the floor, as I realised it was a dirty pair of underwear, that didn’t belong to us! I went down to reception and told the women on the desk, and she found it hilarious and was laughing as we told her, no apologies just laughingly telling us that she’ll let the cleaners know… I was not best pleased to say the least. Definitely wouldn't recommend, and definitely will not be coming back.

Stayed in lodge 12 Stayed for 3 nights. Nice and spacious lodge, pretty much had all the essentials you needed in the kitchen, except they only gave 1 dishwasher and no sponge for dishes. The lights for the kitchen area weren't working. But still gave a cosy look, especially with the fire heater. The hot tub was amazing. The area is very quiet. Good for a quiet getaway. They have a swimming pool/sauna/spa/golf all available to use when there.

Fabulous 7 nights away! Gorgeous sights and the lodge was definitely luxury, 👌 the only downside is if you don't drive your in the middle of no where meaning if you need to get to a Morrisons its £13 each way in a taxi, great break for adults my little boy did get quite bored but the hot tub was amazing and the on site swimming pool was fab!

Stayed at the lodge with the family and enjoyed it and I will say the best lodge they have is the one at the top of the hill as it’s definitely the best plot 👌🏼

We stayed in Bassetts lodge number 26 with Hoseasons and it was in desperate need of a deep clean. Small double bedroom, two good size twins. The lodge itself has had a sort of update but no hairdryer, cheap 2 Slice toaster, and dirty kitchen cupboards not good. On the plus side The hot tub was good and so was the swimming pool. The site has nothing to do other than the leisure facilities. Mainly older couples who live onsite not a very holiday feel to the site. Not much to do in the area either - I wouldn’t recommend this site or area there are much better areas to go to.

Tired and old lodge. Think 1990s pontins. Cupboards falling apart, mouldy showers, questionable hairs and dirt in the hot tub. I wouldn't reccomend. There's also absolutely nothing to do, but I imagine you only stay here if attending an event. Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 2/5 | Location : 2/5 … More
