The arranged delivery was punctual, and the team were very friendly and really knew their stuff - I'm glad I chose to have them take away my old bed frame and mattress for re-cycling, as it meant the whole event was smooth and efficient. The bedroom is transformed by the solid wooden craftsmanship (Camden double bed), and my new mattress (cotton Sienna 1500 pocket spring) is divine! Thanks again guys for delivering the extra storage box free of charge.

The people at Warren Evans are awesome. I had just purchased a new house and bought 2 beds and mattresses. I didn't realise the backlog meant I would be without a bed for a while, but I called them up and explained and they were able to speed up the process so we would have the beds in time. Cannot explain how much I appreciated that, was looking at a sleeping bag for 2 weeks because of my bad timing. Onto the beds, they are simply the best. Sounds cheesy, but the frame is solid and looks great, and the mattress is the most comfortable thing I've ever been on. If I ever need a bed again, I will be contacting Warren Evans.

My husband and I ordered a bed from Warren Evans for our guest room after moving to a house. The many positive reviews helped convince us to go with the company. Unfortunately, we did not have a smooth experience. When we ordered the bed on 9th April, their website said (and still says) "Made & delivered in days" — however, that is not true. The earliest available delivery date for a custom bed (in London) was the first week of May; at the time that was OK, as our first guests weren't coming until the long coronation weekend. Additionally, only Wednesdays were available, which is not ideal for people like of us required to go to the office on Wednesdays, but my husband was able to work it out so he could stay home for the delivery. However, on the day of delivery, we learned that the company did not make the right size headboard after the delivery men assembled the bed. The next available delivery date they could offer was a further two weeks away (again, what happened to the "made & delivered in days"?), so we did not have a complete bed for our guests after already waiting a month. While Warren Evans apologised and offered redelivery of the correct size headboard, that was all. For spending more than £800 on a bed, we thought their service would extend to offering something for the inconvenience of waiting six weeks and being required to wait for a second delivery. Finally, Warren Evans makes you think you're ordering something on sale when the reality is that they have the same "sale" prices all the time. We ordered our bed during a sale over the Easter weekend, but every time I've seen their website since, the same "sale" prices are still offered.

We wanted to get a new mattress after the one we bought from their former Clapham showroom finally gave up after 16 years. I only had the invoice description to go on and they knew exactly the right model to replace this. The sale price was a bonus but the online chat with Harold was really helpful, in fact a rare delight in a chat-bot world and I was also really happy to hear it's still a family run business and, even in a chat, I could sense the pride in their service and product. I look forward to buying another mattress in 2039 :)
