"Why don't you join me?" a jogger said as he passed me a number of times doing laps of the park. "I'm not fit enough to exercise," I called after his receding form. The way I see it, if you've done one press-up you've done them all.

This is a hockey and rugby ground. Great for dog walking, parking and Prittle Brook. A pity that the public footpath doesn't extend to Priory Park or that the route into Rochford is not developed. This could link up to the River Roach so you could walk from Belfairs Wood, all the way to the River.
