BEWARE. Thieves!!! They have billed us for items that we have not had in the bar (we didn't even go into the bar!) After sending several emails they are now demanding we fill out forms so they can assess whether or not they will refund money THEY HAVE STOLEN.

Adults-only hotel. Huge hotel Takes 5 days to find your way around. Pool, spa complex had a canopy to walk out side. De . Many teething problems. carrying your cases to and from the car park. If disabled you can have the cases and luggage taken by a golf buggy to reception by the porter. You're expected to drag your case to your room. Finding your room after walking 15 mins was stressful. With key card wouldn't open the door. Back down to reception again. It was starting to feel like a faulty tower programme! No one to help with directions. It card only a hotel, no cash. Set up an account on arrival. Food and dining in the market kitchen were excellent and the staff are very attentive to guests. They are fresh leaning their roll by staffs from other warner hotels Negativity points. The main road to the hotel has a two-mile drive. Don't get out of a taxi at this point. otherwise, you will walk a 2-mile walk. Can't get cars to the hotel doors. Dragging cases from your car to the hotel is very hard and a long way. About a Quater of a mile up a sloped drive. When you arrive people feel tired and have extra stress finding your room. Also going to find the market kitchen to book times of dining. You could be in 3 dining rooms. The manor house is the upmarket brasserie. Book dining times when booking your Warner's break Book up the brasserie before when you book Heythorp Park. If you want fine dining. It is cold in the lounge coming out of the market kitchen diner wear warm clothes. You need a woolen cardigan, jacket, and jumper. Many will not return until the management sort the issues out. Not any transport laid on to visit anywhere during the week. Not suitable for the disabled. Only saw one mobility scooter in the hotel. Walking in this hotel is a way of becoming fit. Don't bother if less mobile. Hope one day this beautiful hotel will be run like all Warner's hotels.

Rooms: We stayed in the South Wing - Deluxe Rooms with Patio. Lovely decoration, nice bathroom and fab shower. Clean and lovely little extras in the room. Nearby activities: We tried the Archery, shooting range and the Spa that are free and within the complex. Lovely walks around the grounds. We didn't use the golf course but it looked gorgeous and v big. The quizzes in the Bar were a bit of fun too. The Theatre and Late Lounge also have some things in the afternoons, Salsa lesson and they show Movies etc. Walkability: The complex is large from the South Wing right through to the Manor House. There are some small lifts. Plenty of Bars, lounges, quiet places to sit and restaurants. Food & drinks: We pre booked our meal times (easier if you are in a group) you can join your rooms together as a group table, so that you can sit together. We were a group of 6 and we all agreed that the food in all of the restaurants was excellent and the service was good. Also plenty of really nice outside sitting areas. All the staff - Reception, bars, restaurants etc are lovely and love to chat with people!!

Awesome looking venue. Pitty that was the only highlight. If your are going for golf and expecting to get a bite to eat before 1130 expect to be told that hotel guests take preference and then told there are no options apart from a £15 per head breakfast buffet. We did get food after our round, and this was extremely disappointing as they charge premium prices and provide budget portions and quality. Really disappointed as the course was decent. Just the overall package let it down.

Rooms: Poor air con didn't work at all through our stay. Cleaners did not replace towels. Bed rooms are smaller than other Warner hotels. Nearby activities: Good activitys if you can get in to do them. There should be a small golf course for beginners. There is plenty of ground to put one.. Noteworthy details: They need more staff that know what they are, doing. Stairs are very dangerous..

Heythrop is a beautiful place. The cleanliness and rooms were excellent. The entertainment was very good. The staff worked very hard and were extremely helpful and pleasant. However, they seemed to be under extreme pressure, shortage of staff and technology not working properly. We will book again because the good parts of the holiday outweighed the discrepancies.
