We visited Wards because we were looking to purchase an Opal and have it made into a necklace using my old engagement and wedding rings and they came highly recommended for custom pieces. I'm so glad we visited! We were able to choose from loads of loose stones and they took such care sketching designs and ideas with us. The communication was wonderful and the final piece is even bigger than could have imagined.

After a previous great experience today was not the same. A few months ago myself and my partner (female) had been looking to buy engagement rings in this store. We had taken photos of the rings we’d like outside and gone in to discuss with the lovely server with the intent to return to buy. Today we had been looking at the window comparing to the previous ring we had looked at when a blonde sales assistant started banging on the window, shouting what we could only make out to be “no photos, if you want photos you have to come, in otherwise go”. I understand if this is a policy however just banging and shouting at potential customers instead of just coming out and politely explaining is not appropriate. We felt so embarrassed and offended that we left straight away. This is NOT how you treat potential customers. We will not be returning to buy our rings which we had been so excited about and as I said, this so so disappointing after our first great experience.
