This common is so popular. The community gather at the week ends to enjoy outdoors sport activities or going for a tree walk to experience the beauty of the park. Hosting 2 big swan and duck ponds the children love it. The cafe in the common provides packets of food to feed the birds keeping them healthy. Try their love food from a great menu. Ice coffee when the sun comes out or a refreshing berry smoorhies to keep that energy level high. Coffee well what can i say, the best i have tried in any park cafe, this little beauty host curious roo coffee made by very good baristas !!!!! yum yum yum. Something for everyone to do here on a good summer week end.

The park is lovely but the cafe leaves something to be desired! The food was mediocre and of very small portions. We had the full english and it was anything but one sausage cut in half length ways 2 small bits of bacon a small mushroom and beans and tomatoes mixed together!! Revolting! 3 pieces of toast one bit of butter not big enough to cover the toast poor is all I can say. We ended up stopping somewhere else to get something else

A favourite place for a walk at any time of year, but especially spring time when the blossom is out. There are a couple of kid's play ground and plenty of places to let a dog off the lead. The ponds are beautiful and there aren't too many cyclists although still a few whizz through without being careful. The Skylark cafe is a great place for lunch and a decent coffee
