The team at Walthamstow Windows were great from start to finish. The inspection and quote was carried out quickly and all questions were answered thoroughly. Once I had decided which windows to go for the process was super simple and I was sent all the info and payment terms and a date for install was given. The guys who came to install the windows were lovely and completed the job really quickly, professionally and the clean up was excellent. I will certainly be a repeat customer when I have the means to replace the rest of my windows.

After speaking to several other vendors, I chose Walthamstow Window Company (WWC) for my Victorian property because I was looking for high-quality heritage look sash windows. My impression was that the owner Joel understood that the windows were a stand-out feature of the build project, to give the property character. I paid a substantial premium compared to other quotes, expecting to be thrilled at the quality and finish. I’m sorry to say this was a huge mistake. I understand there were were complications last year with the pandemic, supply chain etc but how Joel handled this situation was shockingly unprofessional and the reviews below by both Marguerite Maynard and Philip Jeffrey mirror my experience exactly. I still don't have the windows that I ordered after 9 months and WWC have ghosted me.

Great experience putting in some sash windows in my property, including a bay. The speed and detail of the job is of a really high quality and many of my neighbours have commented on how good they look. Joel is responsive , straightforward and a decent guy so made the job easy to deal with. The manufacturing delays due to Ukraine etc did cause delays in delivery.

Overall a superb 5-star experience. Similar to some others there where a few pandemic and supplier delays, but my understanding is that these have all now been resolved. Joel kept us updated throughout the whole process. Joel is a great guy and much more approachable than some others we encountered. We felt genuine customer care. Alongside him, he has a fantastic team. The installation was professional, quick, thorough and considerate. The windows are absolutely awesome and we love them. Great value too. I would 100% recommend Joel and Walthamstow Window Company.
