This is a really nice pub. Very welcoming and friendly. The food was nice, but both our black puddings were rock hard, and my partners peas were hard, too. Overall it was a pleasant visit, and we will return. The beer garden is huge, we will definitely make use of that once it gets a little warmer.

Me and my wife used The Walnut Tree as a base when visiting York, they let us park our campervan on the car park for 2 nights, we used the pub on Friday night for drinks and food on the Saturday. Great food and friendly pub and staff. We would definitely use again, would like to say a massive thank you for your hospitality.
