I was informed that 2 of my family members were questioned regarding my address due to a change of one of their addresses. This receptionist, instead of contacting me herself, threatened my family members that she would report them to the practice manager if they did not give her my personal details without my consent. Will be reporting this to the information controller as well as the practice manager and will be leaving this practice as soon as I can, I was registered to this practice at birth so it is a shame to have recieved this treatment. It is not acceptable to treat patients like criminals, regardless of whether their name is foreign or not. The receptionists have always been an absolute let down to this surgery that otherwise has good albeit hard to reach doctors.

Receptionists are horrible and patronising. If you dont like dealing with people i suggest you get another job.

Doctors are neither exceptionally good nor exceptionally bad but the reception team are abysmal. They spend a lot of time telling you how busy they are and with attitude yet don’t actually do anything useful. I wonder if these receptionists have killed more people than Shipman with their inflated sense of self importance and unhelpful attitude. I needed a blood test prior to an MRI scan for a potential brain tumour and instead of getting it organised ASAP they spent a good while scolding me for having the audacity to be irritated that they couldn’t guarantee it would get done in time for the scan. I visited the Alexandra immediately after where the staff were human, took the bloods and had the results. I pay more in NI for the NHS than I do for private health yet get zero value for money from the NHS. I think there’s a special place in hell for these receptionists

What a let down of a place. I’m sure when you manage to get an appointment it’s a nice place but the sky will turn purple before it possible to get an appointment here. This place needs urgent reviewing from NHS England. Wonder how many people have suffered at the hands of not being able to see doctor because of this place.

Doesn’t even deserve a one star. I really hope elderly ppl are not at this surgery because they won’t be able to get an appointment. I’ve been at this surgery for 3years and on average when trying to get an appointment you have to ring over 100 times on repeated call back from the moment the lines open and usually by time you get through they don’t have any appointments and have to try again the next day, This sometimes happens for a few days in a row from trying. Even when you get an appointment they still only don’t do face to face appointments unless they feel they really really have to. This place needs closing down or new management! It’s a danger to people
