The food is always good, but there lacks basic service or politeness at all. I had a very bad experience over there today. The female staff kept turning to chat with another colleague while she wasn't wearing a mask the entire time she was making my sushi roll. What was worse, she rolled her eyes and asked me - do you mean you want all sides here??? after I asked for one more piece of cucumber. Then she didn't respond to my curiosity about the number of sides they provide. I felt not comfortable with her tone and the rolling eyes and also the behaviour at the end she just asked me to swipe my card and then left, didn't show any politeness by saying thanks or goodbye etc. Btw, at the beginning I heard she was making fun of the last customer with her colleague. I am an international student, and I didn't expect to be treated badly here by someone who looks like me at the uni.

Nice sushi, we particularly enjoyed the Inari and the prawn tempura roll (sauce was a little spicy). One thing that we didn’t expect was that the fish in our inside out rolls was different to the picture on the menu, and we’re not the biggest tuna fans.

We ordered food from Waki Maki for Valentine's day. We got a sushi platter, Hoisin duck rolls and gyoza, we'd had the sushi platter last year during the first lockdown and really enjoyed it. The platter was much the same as last time, high quality fresh fish and a good range of flavours. The chicken gyoza was delicious, some of the best we'd had in a long while and we've eaten A LOT of gyoza! The hoisin duck rolls were incredible, packed full of lots of duck (skin and all, yum!) and they were decorated with delicious hoisin, spring onions and crispy onions. Friendly, speedy communication, we were given a one hour slot which they kept to. Really can't fault them. We enjoyed our Valentine's meal and will definitely be ordering again, we look forward to trying more new items!

I’ve ordered twice from Waki Maki and will continue to do so. The sushi is delicious and so fresh. The menu expansion is great - loved the chicken karaage alongside all the seafood. Highly recommend!
