Nice friendly tennis club. Has social sessions twice a week and also indoor social sessions throughout the winter. Plenty of match play available for all abilities from beginner to advanced. Also has club tournaments running throughout the summer, open and handicap events to give everyone a fair chance of winning. The club has 3 acrylic hard courts, 4 all weather tarmac courts and a further 9 all weather astroturf courts with full use of a clubhouse.

Low tier tennis club. Cannot play during the weekdays unless its a summer break, and only certain members are allowed to enter the club. Some nice people here but the committee are very rude and patronising, so I won't bother joining again, since it's not worth the price they charge for what you get. Only one social a week. You won't be able to play alot during social since each match lasts a full set (too much time wastef for people sitting down). Don't see the point not having each match the best of 5 or something so people aren't waiting. Wouldn't recommend this club to any beginner, nor advanced tennis player.

I was a member for a year a while back, did not renew my membership in the end as I found it was not inclusive, clicky is the word to describe it. Saturday's social session was meant to be mixed in, players waited longest for a game should be the next to go on court once a court was free, but some members went on court anyway with their mates without even asking other players waiting in the queue.

Very unwelcome for beginners. Chairman is patronising, not listening and rude. If you can't play tennis very well just don't go there!!!
