Very poor and unacceptable customer service! I was waiting for 15 minutes to buy a rotisserie chicken and each staff was just passing by and staring at me without acknowledging I was there ! They should close this section if they don’t have enough staff! How do they justify £7 for a baby chicken with this poor service?!!

Just had a shocking family shopping experience with this store. I usually shopped at my local north finchley waitrose but this one was just on our way home. As soon as we entered the store with the trolley (I put my 4yrs old inside so they don’t running across the store). We have been stopped by Victoria Ruzkarv demanding my 4 years old to sit down as she can see “they will be falling down” - because they have had a couple incidents. Firstly, we have just entered the store, as you can see I will need to manage both kids to ask them to be sit down and remain their voice down. They are not even taller enough to fall out. Secondly, there was other customer right at the back with their kids literary in the same situation, but I feel I have been targeted very specifically - picking the easy target. As parent, I, of course want to keep our kids in their best manner while shopping in store. But Victoria has made my feel that parents should not come to shop with kids at all. She said to me: if you can not keep them sit down all the time, I will ask you to leave. Victoria followed us about 3/4 aisles down and said “oh I can see you have asked them to sit down”. Most ridiculous and patronising, no one will care about your shopping experience until they heard you complain to your husband they have been “fxxxing racist”. Fine, we will make sure we will never visit this store again since family with young kids are not welcome.

Good size store with lots of parking. Has car charging points outside. Virgin gym opposite. John lewis collection point also. Good fresh produce with butcher's and fishmonger - expensive. Amongst other items, it also sells fresh flowers and a small selection of orchids and plants, including fresh herbs. Standard large waitrose store!
