I always buy my Cote de boueff here or at the Otley and Harrogate stores, an excellent cut of meat. Today I noticed the packaged cut is in a box and the weight and price are on the box, it looked like all five boxes had been opened, I hope no one is taking a large steak and sticking it in a lesser priced box, may be best to go back to the old method.

Excellent place to shop. Not always the cheapest price but quality is top and some of their Essentials range are certainly equal to many other supermarkets. Staff / Partners are way ahead of the rest. Update June 2022 : everything still stands - excellent shop, sign up for the Waitrose Card offers as they are good. Update October 2022 - free paper every day, 7 days a week, without any need to buy anything else - that's a benefit of the Waitrose Card offers. Not always the cheapest but as previously said, the quality is great and the staff amongst the most helpful of any supermarket. Update January 2023 still a popular shop, good offers if you download the app and link your Waitrose card. Staff are still far ahead of other retailers in terms of helpfulness etc. The contrast between my local Waitrose and my local Sainsburys is sadly massive. Update May 2023 - still going well.

Beware Private Parking Cost! Fined today for exceeding parking stay which is provided by Brittania Parking. Really difficult to have meal in Waitrose and do shopping with Elderly lady in allotted time. Shame as store and cafe nice.
