You will not find a worse firm than Wainwright Cummins if you are on legal aid. They will literally throw you under the bus which they did to me. Marvin one of their joke lawyers spent one session about a year ago after another joke Mr Ali failed to turn up and I was left in cells for 4 hours at Brixton. After Marvin sat in on the interview he couldn't wait to get out. Over the next year he never answered my calls nor emails and basically ignored me. I had to ring 6 times and beg and then occasionally he would call for a 2 minute call. He then decided to slap a £120 bill on me for his time. Wainwright Cummins are so disgusting they respond to these negative reviews and then ask you to email them as they claim there must be some problem. I replied to their request and these DISGUSTING people just continue to ignore. For the record I sent three emails and they ignored every single one. If you are a paying £400 an hour client you are a different animal to them. Marvin is one of the most despicable people I have ever met. Even if u are paying turn him away if he turns up

Speed of communication in some instances could do with improvement, but overall, I am satisfied. My partner’s involvement with this firm started back in 2018 to take care of a simple legal procedure. Last my partner has heard of them was in September 2020. They have been ignoring his emails ever since. I am now the one that is getting in contact with the firm to try and get some sort of update on this very straight forward procedure. My partner’s case is not being handled professionally if at all. We are three years in and this issue still hasn’t been seen through. They have inspired more stress, confusion and frustration than trust and support. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
