Following our 5 star review - 4 months ago - we now have no option but to leave only 3 stars subsequently. The 3 Stars are balanced against the size if the installation to our property. What had been a big job changing our underfloor heating to rads and yes pleased at the time - the follow-on contact with this company and still under Contract... has not been helpful. Previously we stated being satisfied with the standard of finish. But after a month to 6 weeks from moving back home - we have come to realise there are areas which have been missed noticeably. We called WBC requesting the work to be completed. It appeared they were very busy. OK this was accepted as has been the case for other companies. But the outstanding work remains under Contract as well ....as having paid upfront..for work now unfinished. But our tempers flared when we came to use our nearly new vacuum cleaner. A wet soggy and smelling sludge was left inside of it. It looked and smelt like Plaster! This has caused permanent damage. In our 80's with poor health - finding how much effort was needed to clear up the mess - the sheer effort - as well as a feeling of being fobbed off - the result had been - tempers frayed! Had WBC completed on their unfinished work earlier/given us an indication as to a date - then angry if not abusive emails would not have been sent. An apology has since been given to WBC. However - Everyone has their limit! Discovering the wet smelly sludge in our recently bought vacuum cleaner was our limit... as small as it was in the whole of the situation! Throughout the time WBC worked on our property - so we accommodated this by moving out and renting elsewhere - for them to work straight through uninterrupted. But given how this situation has been left...We wish we had not given the 5 Star Review previously and suggesting we have 'shot ourselves in the foot'. Such a big shame this outcome... given the size of the work, effort involved and now the cost. We had placed our trust in WBC. Service: Heating system installation
