Visited today with our 4yr old boy who enjoys climbing in the park. I wanted to be able to go in with him and support him as he wouldn't have been comfortable in a class setting and this place fit the bill. You can either do a class with an instructor or a PAYG style session where you go in and he can go at his own pace. You don't need to book the free climb just turn up. There is a counter in their website so you can see how busy they are. We opted for late afternoon to miss the busy period. There was about 15 others so very quiet. We had a warm welcome upon arrivals, completed paper work and was given our climbing shoes which are free for your first climb. Then a safety talk which was great. There are lockers free to use, coat hooks, cafe, toilets, free parking, friendly staff, table tennis, small weighs area, and table football (free). It didn't take long for our son to get the hang of the climbing and was quickly over the top and down the slide. My husband climbed with him too. We spent 2hrs and my husband was shattered but my son wasn't lol. This is a lovely facility, really nicely kept and clean. I'm told its bouldering which means you don't wear a harness and it isn't too high.
