Delivered in a box, battered, not properly sealed, no packaging support inside, no reel for the cable, no anything but a bunch of beat up cable in a single cut thrown into a box. I’m not one to leave a bad review, but Voltacon you’ve got mine!

    Another two successful projects finished with the help of the professional team at Voltacon. My projects comprised of finding a good lighting solution for my workspaces in my office and in my workshop.Again I had to describe exactly what I needed and the team at Voltacon managed to deliver and overachieve one more time. First parts was finding the correct light intensity and colour in my workshop. I have went for two 600x600 mm 40W LED panels with Philips drivers which deliver 4000cd each.Not only that the colour of the white replicates the sunlight perfectly but the homogeneity of the panels is so good it creates the perfect lighting for a studio. I tried to take several pictures in there and the lighting is just perfect.Panels were straightforward to fit and although there is an option to buy them with fixtures, I chose to do my own to give them a specific look. Second project was puting ambient lighting on my desk to give it a nice look. This could have been done in so many ways but I like to complicate my life and I routed a perfect slot in the edge of the worktop so the LED strip fits snug inside. The other alternative would be just to stick it on the edge using the supplied 3M tape which comes with the stip standard but that's not what I wanted to do as I wanted to protect the strip from damage. At first I thought that the chosen LED strip was overkill for what I wanted to use it but in the end it only game me some ideas for future projects. Basically, this LED strip is not your usual strip, this one has got RGB plus CW(cold white) and WW(warm white) option.Furthermore it's got addressable LEDs meaning that if you want to tinker with it and put it through an Arduino unit you could potentially program some nice visual effects. Remote control was very easy to sync and it's straightforward to operate and gives you many options and modes to use the lights. One more time I'd like to thank to the good guys at Voltacon! A happy customer is always a returning customer!
