Fantastic experience. A calm methodical approach by Tracy Perkins put me at ease as she asked questions and genuinely listened. Far from over promise and under deliver I was aware of the positive effect immediately. After suffering migraines for years and a heavy head in the morning which can be debilitating, my migraines have dramatically reduced, my head is much clearer every morning and I feel that my sleep quality has improved. I cannot recommend this lovely lady enough. Give this a try you wont be disappointed in the hands of this expert.

I had my first one pierced in October to try and help reduce my anxiety and put a stop to my migraines, and also to try and calm my stomach so I could eat a bit more.. piercing was very fast and pretty painless, just some pressure, Tracy was amazing and informative. Had my second one in December, and I am now a different person!I have had no migraines since having these piercings, I have put on weight (not sure I'm happy about that 😅 but people tell me I look healthier now) I'm a lit less worried all the time, I barely cry these days which is great! I have also gained some sort of new found confidence where I can actually say my piece without worrying! I wish I had these peircings done sooner!!! Thanks Tracy xx

I visited the Taunton clinic in November 2022 and had my daith piercing done by Tracey. I've suffered from migraines all of my life but recently they had started to change and really take over my life. I had suffered with debilitating migraines for 10 years - the entirety of my 20s - and on my 30th birthday I decided to try out a daith piercing, at the recommendation of a friend. I found Tracey and booked in to see her at The Sanctuary in Upminster. Firstly, I was enchanted by the location, and then by Tracey, who was completely comforting, both with her demeanour and her knowledge. She tested me thoroughly, worked out the best side for the piercing, showed me the range of bars and hoops, explained aftercare, and none of it was rushed. Everything was hygienic and considered. And the swiftest part of the whole experience was the piercing itself! It was also painless; the most you feel is some pressure, which is over in an instant. I left feeling optimistic but still slightly sceptical, however I can say now after 3 months that the daith piercing has changed my life. My 3 day migraines have been reduced to regular headaches that only last a few hours, and which hardly occur anymore anyway. I no longer have visual issues, especially with light, which was a huge trigger. I also just feel happy all the time - this piercing does so much more than just offer physical pain relief, but emotional relief, too. And for that, I recommend a daith piercing (by Tracey Perkins). It’s not an exaggeration to say it’s completely changed my life. I’ve told all of my friends to book with VNS Daith and I would encourage anyone who suffers with migraines, and other ailments, to do the same.

I cannot recommend Tracy more highly. She is thoroughly knowledgeable, puts you at ease (and makes you laugh!) and the piercing process itself is super quick. My headaches are really complicated, I saw some improvement after the first piercing and so far about an 80% improvement after my second one (so don’t give up if one side doesn’t work for you – although for most people I know who’ve had it done just one side produced incredible results). Tracy is very committed to helping you to feel better, if you are in pain you have nothing to lose by giving this a try, I’m so pleased that I went to see her.
