Windows looked amazing, but after 8 years the guillotine windows would no longer open and shut and after 8.5 years the window units failed and were full of condensation. So far Vitrocsa charged significant sums to make them open and shut again in a bodged way and they now claim the glass is not their problem. £40,000 of windows I wish I had never installed! Exchanged details with Gordon one of the Vitrocsa partners - he agreed i had issues with my Vitrocsa windows and ensured me he would help - suprise suprise nothing - more poor service from Vitrocsa

I first dealt with this company seven years ago and again more recently, and I am very happy to recommend it and award it five stars. The proprietor (Gordon Shannon) is reliable and easy to deal with, and, when an issue arose with a window from my original installation, he returned to replace it without any fuss whatsoever. His installers are similarly helpful and polite, and their manager (Mike) is well-organised and efficient. They all really know their product and are true perfectionists. After reading a previous review I feel it’s worth noting that 'Vitrocsa' is the brand name of this window system, the manufacturers of which are based in Switzerland. There now seem to be three official retailers/installers of the system in the UK and, rather confusingly, they all use ‘Vitrocsa’ in their trading names - presumably to indicate their official 'Partner' status. As such, I can only presume that some of the very negative reviews of this company have been posted against it in error, and instead refer to one of its competitors. I found Vitrocsa through an architect friend and have to say that they have been fantastic. I hadn't used a glass company directly before and was nervous of not knowing all the jargon, but I needn't have been. The guys walked me through the different products and helped me understand the best solution. Workmanship was impeccable and the finished job completed on time, on budget and I have had zero issues! Completely misleading. This company and another company (based in Hampstead) both share the same name Vitrocsa uk. Very deceptive. Our architects recommended Vitrocsa and I have to admit after visiting the showroom in south London I wouldn’t go back again. No samples and a really difficult conversation with the person we spoke to. I wasn’t convinced they could handle our project at all and with the added confusion of the name we walked away. There’s another company in Hampstead with the same name - Vitrocsa UK. After much confusion it turns out our architect was talking to them. In any case we decided to go elsewhere for our doors. Reading some of the reviews, I don’t think we made a mistake.

We would never recommend Vitrocsa or Brava. They made an absolute mess our project from start to finish. As soon as we paid a deposit the problems started. No one bothered to return our calls and the owner was always on holiday in Portugal. Absolute con merchants
