As mentioned by other reviewers, we found the receptionist to be incredibly rude and have left the practice because of her. The dentists there have always been good, but there tended to be a high turnover.

I have been with this practice for years although I liked the dentists there the receptionist is extremely rude. I think she is the wife of one of the dentists. I called to book a check-up a couple of days ago as things are slowly getting back to normal but was informed I have been taken off their register as I have not been to the dentist recently. She said the coronavirus pandemic did not affect anyone seeing the dentist! She said it was my responsibility that I had a 6 month check-up and the reminders they used to send were as a matter of courtesy. I have had no communication since my last appointment and she said I could not re-registers as they are not taking on any more NHS patients.

Incredibly rude receptionist. I haven't come since February 2020 (the month before all the lockdowns) had 2 appointments cancelled due to this and then I try to book recently after being out of the country for a while and I get the phone hung up on me. Awful service.

Miss a single appointment for your kids and they de-register your children and leave them without a dentist, when they most need one. Please note, the awful receptionist seemed to take pleasure in telling me this too, you could almost hear the smile on her face. We are now having to search for a new NHS dentist which, at the moment, seems impossible. If the devil was a dental receptionist, he would be the receptionist at this dentist.

Wouldn’t recommend it here if your a nervous patient, I don’t get on with needles I asked for 5 mins air and they told me not to come back. Completely rude considering I’m very anxious when it comes to dentist’s. Very unfriendly and rude!

Unfortunately, I had to echo previous comments about the poor, not understanding and not customer friendly receptionist and service. I let the receptionist know about our special circumstances that our three-member family is extremely vulnerable to covid, especially my son. We lived in strict isolation in the past years. I had to take my son out of school and could not visit places even where a mask was mandatory. Today I called this practice about needing urgent help and unfortunately, I can not delay seeing a doctor. The receptionist did not understand our circumstances at all, was rude and with an unfriendly voice kicked us out from the practice saying we can not even re-register. I felt very let down and am very disappointed.

I was a regular patient of this practice for years without any issue. My last booked appointment was January 2020, which I cancelled and was told this was OK at the time. I've now been told that as I didn't make another appointment during all the Covid issues I've been dropped. No wonder they have so many bad reviews.
