My mum and I got a terribly unpleasant experience at Visa Medicals. Highly NOT recommend for people who are not native English speakers. My mum, who is 71 years old, was scared by the receptionist and being labelled as failing to communicate in English at the reception desk. Instead of assisting my mum to complete the test with patience, the receptionist kept asking my mum questions to test her English, and this frightened her to not being able to say a word. That’s horrible!! Finally, she was rejected to have the booked test and forced to leave. Worse still, we were charged £60 for ‘forced’ cancellation of the appointment!! We wasted our time and money. We made an appointment for having a TB test as one of the requirements of applying a BNO visa, but we were rejected to have the booked test due to the reason of not having an employed translator and not being able to communicate in English, while my mum, despite being 71 years old non-English native speaker, has no problems to communicate in simple English in her daily life. That’s ridiculous and totally unfair.

I had a really pleasant experience. Dr Stangoni made me feel really comfortable and totally at ease. I always get nervous around doctors, but he was great made me feel really calm. The reception staff were also really organised and friendly.

Was a little nervous going for my medical due to mixed reviews on here. I'm not good with remembering names but the doctor, nurse and radiologist were great. Welcoming and friendly. Desk staff were okay, not as welcoming but not rude either. The medical fee is quite a lot but its to be expected from the start of the K process. Overall a good experience.

The staff made me feel comfortable being that I don’t do very well with needles. When I got in they gave me a few minutes to gather my paperwork, gave them to receptionist, made some copies and kept some, they took a picture of me(didn’t kept any of my photos), then chest X-ray, couple of vaccines and drew blood. While the experience was great I ended up paying 450£, maybe is not they’re fault but boy that is a lot of money anywhere

Terrible customer service over the phone. The advisor was incredibly rude when we were asking her for more information and showed no interest in answering our queries. As she was speaking very hastily, we asked her to clarify some stuff, but the advisor showed no patience and started to become confrontational. The phone line was cut by her early too.
