I found Sharon during lock down and it was like the clouds parting and the Sun shining though. Being an upholsterer meant I mostly worked alone and was feeling a bit adrift. Then I found Vintique!!! It came fully fitted with a community of other upholstererd and lots of really cool and inspiring furniture and upholstery. I love what I do but had not been serious about it or knew if I even could. I booked a power hour with Sharon and it was fantastic. Even to talk about the nuances of the industry with some one who had come though was so encouraging. I felt that by booking the session I was investing in myself and my business. I am a busy jobbing thriving crafts person (I can say that now because I'm more confident about my skills and the future) Booking the Power hour helped me see that. Sharon sent me a questionnaire prior to our session and that alone helped me define, edit and really think about what I do and where I want to take it. It helped so much for goal setting. I'm on a slow trajectory but that's how I want it. Not only the Power hour but I can and have contacted Sharon since our session to ask advice or what she thought about ideas and she has alway responded and been more than generous with her experience and opinion and business knowledge. Any time we have spoken I 100% come away full of confidence and validation. Couldn't recommend Sharon more. Best money I've ever spent on myself!

We have now worked with Sharon over the last 4 years on 6 items of furniture, all but one of which are much treasured family pieces. Which are now beautifully restored and enjoyed by us daily, apart from the blue rocking horse which is at Grandma's! As we are in Southampton each time we have had video calls, used photos and measurements to work out what needed to be done and to choose some fantastic fabric! She was so patient with me, sending multiple samples, visiting my home to see the room and recommending both colour schemes and texture to best suit my needs. The end result is STUNNING! I have a beautiful statement chair that I can't stop looking at. Her attention to detail is superb and the fabric is divine.
