I have been looking at various investment alternatives and came across VA. James rang me back and guided me through the whole process, (he probably had a headache after all the questions I asked him) but seriously, very professional, not pushy, and nothing was too much effort. Always at the end of the phone if I needed more help/advice or to answer more questions. I have since purchased a cask, and hopefully one of many! Wanted a small alternative investment and read about whisky in a newspaper advert - followed up and after some very pleasant conversations with Senior Cask Trader Sam Phillips bought two interesting barrels on a 20 year time frame. Sam was meticulous in explaining all the pros and cons as well as all of the practical details including storage, insurance, quality testing, ownership certificates and eventual disposal - couldn't have asked for better really. I am really glad Sam called me after I downloaded the whisky investment brochure. It opened me up to a wider portal to geek out about whisky!! Sam was really friendly, always replied my questions and queries in a timely manner and guided me through the process with admirable professionalism and accurate industry knowledge. Truly happy to start investing my first cask with VA and I will definitely be expanding my portfolio!
